Ubislate Aakash tablet comes with Android 2.2.2, which is one of the latest upgrades from Google Android, and so you can dive in to amazing world of android apps & games which are around 1,50,000 for tablets at this stage. Big 7 inch display is also a plus point for playing many of the games, surfing web & using some productivity apps.
This tablet has a normal SIM card slot that lets you surf the web by using 2G technology like GPRS & additionally you have Wi Fi enabled for accessing numerous hotspots. Just lacks at touch screen. It is protective touch screen which turns the mood off.
How can you imagine angry birds on a resistive touch screen?
But the price point is the dominating factor.
Now why would one spend 3000 bucks on a spice/lava qwerty Chinese OS phone when we have a 2.2 Android OS , 7 inched tablet phone?
Thats the point, it comes in the cost of lowest cost phones. Deserves a try !
