New Delhi, April 19, 2017 – BenQ ZOWIE, a leading innovator of professional gaming gear and monitors, announced today its association with ESL India Premiership 2017, the second edition of the biggest esports event in the country. This year, the tournament offers a new structure, offers a much larger prize pool and is all set to unlock the next level for Indian eSports.
The ESL India Premiership brings forth the expertise and enthusiasm of BenQ ZOWIE and aims to enhance the competitiveness in Indian e-sports. The tournament boasts a prize pool of $100,000 across games such as Counter Strike : Global Offensive, Dota 2 and Clash Royale. The 3 LAN season finales of the yearlong event will be played on the BenQ ZOWIE XL2546, world’s first 240hz esports monitor with DyAc® technology. This will be the first time in India that a LAN event will be played on 240hz monitors, thereby elevating the experience and standards to an international level.
BenQ ZOWIE will be setting up an experience zone at the season finales where its entire range of gaming peripherals and monitors will be showcased. These are targeted towards serious gamers and this association with the ESL India Premiership 2017 solidifies ZOWIE’s intention to promote and nurture gaming in India.
The ESL India Premiership is currently on of the biggest competitive gaming tournaments in India and provides Indian gamers as well as enthusiasts to experience the global e-sports phenomena.
