Puss in Boots

This first video isn’t particularly terrific (the other one, by the way, is available on Netflix), but it’s nonetheless entertaining and may be of interest to youngsters who saw last year’s picture and are curious about where it all began.
Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank
This 2022 CGI animation picture, a loose reworking of Blazing Saddles, scarcely made any ripples when it was released last Summer, but it’s not awful! Michael Cera, Ricky Gervais, Samuel L. Jackson, Michelle Yeoh, and even Mel Brooks himself provide their voices to the story of a dog that transforms into a samurai in order to save a cat community from its evil lord.
How to Train Your Dragon
The films based on Cressida Cowell’s novel form one of the greatest trilogies of the decade. This DreamWorks adventure picture about a youngster (Jay Baruchel) who befriends a dragon named Toothless despite his people’s dread of flying creatures started it all. This is a magnificent adventure story with equal parts heart and passion, a classic tale about never judging a book by its cover.
Hotel Transylvania: Transformation
Hotel Transylvania’s big blockbuster series took an unexpected turn in early 2022, when the epidemic converted this once-Sony product into a Prime Video exclusive. This is most likely the concluding picture in this four-feature series, in which Dracula (Adam Sandler) transforms into a human while his son-in-law (Andy Samberg) transforms into a monster. Of course, what matters most is what’s on the inside. Everyone is aware of this.
DC League of Superpets
As the voices of Superman’s superdog Krypto and the not-so-super Ace, who becomes Batman’s canine, BFFs Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart headline one of the strongest animated voice casts of 2022. It’s a goofy super-comedy boosted by Kevin McKinnon, John Krasinski, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna, Marc Maron, and a brilliantly dry Keanu Reeves as the Dark Knight himself.
Clifford the Big Red Dog
This adaptation of the children’s book series about the gigantic dog was initially planned for a theatrical release but was rescheduled for late 2021 on Paramount+ before being made accessible to Prime customers. It’s just sweet enough to make our list, owing largely to a charming Tony Hale and Kenan Thompson cast.
Cinderella
Another Cinderella film, another year. The original one on Prime belongs to pop sensation Camila Cabello, who channelled her musical popularity into her jukebox musical twist on the classic tale. That means recognized hits mixed up with a few originals. It isn’t the best Cinderella, but it’s also not the worst. Perhaps it will be the shoe for you.
Addams Family 2
Even if this animated blockbuster isn’t their greatest outing, Charles Addams’ characters will never grow old. There’s still plenty to admire in this sequel to the Addams Family’s 2019 animated premiere, particularly the voice performances of Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Nick Kroll, Bill Hader, Wallace Shawn, and others. This one is about the Addams family on a road trip, and although it was mostly neglected during the epidemic, it earned a fortune. They’ll continue creating Addams Family films in perpetuity.

On the voyage, she will encounter flying monkeys, adorable munchkins, and several hazards. A Tin Man in need of a heart, a Lion in need of bravery, and a Scarecrow in need of a brain accompany her. The Wicked Witch of the West, who refuses to relinquish her grudge, stands in their way.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
In 2018, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was released in cinemas. This film, directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman, stars Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, and Hailee Steinfeld. If you enjoy animation-action films, you should check out this title.

It’s nearly hard to have children and not be familiar with Frozen, but did you know you can watch this Disney mega-hit on Amazon for a few dollars? (However, you might want to consider simply buying it altogether since after your child meets Elsa, Anna, Olof, and their pals, there’s a high chance she’ll want to watch them on repeat every day.) Aside from Frozen Fever, this Disney film is packed with surprisingly positive messages for young girls, owing to two strong female leads and a narrative celebrating sisterhood. Plus, the singing is so good (hello, Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel) that the entire family will likely start singing along…everywhere, all the time.
Frozen II
There’s no getting around it: Frozen 2 will be the feature for your next family movie night—which isn’t terrible. This sequel is a little darker than the original, and there are a few disturbing moments (including one with a crazed rock monster) that more sensitive youngsters may want to skip. Despite the risky sections, the theme of camaraderie, love, and endurance remains powerful, and the music is still on the spot.
Moana
You don’t have to be a Disney fan to love Moana since everything about it feels perfect. The music, composed by Hamilton composer Lin-Manuel Miranda, is as attractive to adults’ ears as it is to small children, and the storyline, which chronicles the exploits of a brave little Polynesian girl on a journey to preserve her island, is also quite rocking. A strong female role model (Moana is the lady we all aspire to be), a unique cultural perspective, and plenty of humor combine to make this film an immediate classic.
