Oxford University to Offer Management Courses in Maharashtra

The masters in the teaching – Oxford University is planning to enter in India for short term management courses near Mumbai, at Lavasa City.

The course will be offered for medium and senior level executives that will be ensuring higher level of academic education with Oxford’s quality in it.

The senior executives from Oxford are currently working on the assessment of courses that how the course will be offered and in which format. The Oxford is reportedly start their actual work in year 2010.

The courses offered are supposed to have full time courses of few weeks, with target of almost 5000 students within coming years. They will try to offer 20 courses in beginning years for management students.

The India Business Center in Oxford have studied and researched Business Models of India which will be used to design the courses as well as for the students who are going to join the program. But bad news for those who are expecting full time graduation and post graduation programs in India, because they can not give that quality education as they have in their university environment.

They have raised enough funds so as to provide scholarship and build their infrastructure at Lavasa & can add more short term courses in the upcoming future.
