How to Build a Perfect Combination for Business Gamers?

If you’re a working person who enjoys relaxing alongside modern games, then you need a device that can meet your needs. There are plenty of configurations, models, and manufacturers to choose from. However, it’s important to know that every gaming device can easily meet your business requirements, while business devices cannot always support serious gaming habits. It’s up to you to pick the best that’ll suit your needs.

If you choose to have an Ultrabook, they are great when you need to put together a presentation for work, crunch some numbers or binge-watch your favorite Netflix shows. If your ultrabook has Thunderbolt 3 port, there’s a good chance that you can attach an external GPU (eGPU), providing all the benefits of an Nvidia or AMD graphics card, without carrying around a bulky notebook.  There are even a couple of external boxes that play nice with MacBooks, so they too can know the joys of super-high-res PC gaming.

If you are building your gaming PC, one of the biggest advantages is the ability to essentially hand-pick every single component in the system. This allows you to fine-tune your build and customize it to fit your exact budget and performance requirements. You also have the added benefit of personalizing it completely to your liking. The first thing that most of us are constrained to be budget, so this is the first thing you should consider. We always want the best but we need to be grounded on what we can afford. Buying computer parts that you don’t need or exceeding your expenses is not a good decision. So Get a budget and stick to it.

The next thing you should be looking at is your requirements. Do you need a laptop or a desktop? What is the machine going to be used for? Can games be played in it? Once you have done this go back to number one and see if these are compatible. You either need to adjust your budget or adjust your goals to make them more compatible with each other.

Lastly, since you will use it for your work, you should choose a device that is friendly for a business environment. Computers in the workplace make it easier than ever to share ideas and to collaborate. There’s a fine line between using technology efficiently and letting it be a distraction that inhibits productivity and creates friction.


Picking the right components for the build you need can be a daunting process at first, but once you dive in, you’ll see that it’s not only surprisingly simple, it’s a heck of a lot of fun. This guide is by no means meant to be exhaustive, it’s more a primer on what you’ll need to know to gather up the right parts, and start putting your dream build together.

Ultrabook – eGPU

An eGPU is a graphics processor that resides outside of a computer. It is attached via a high-speed connection, such as Thunderbolt cable, which provides sufficient bandwidth to process graphics in real-time outside the computer.

eGPUs can be used by both desktop and laptop computers. However, they are more commonly connected to laptops since desktop PCs often have internal expansion slots for graphics cards. In either case, the purpose of an eGPU is to provide the connected machine with higher graphics processing performance.

Explanation / Benefits

The idea of an external graphics card is to transform ultrabooks that are rather weak in terms of raw power into capable gaming laptops and portable workstations. The benefits of an ultrabook are portability and long battery life. This same laptop can then turn into a much more powerful computer when paired with an external GPU.

Instruction how to build an eGPUs:

  1. Back up

Always back up everything. All the time. This is to ensure that no data will be lost during the process (in case an error occurs).

  1. Prepare the Hardware

We will need to have the following computer accessories to build eGPU

  • The graphic processing unit card
  • A Thunderbolt 2 case
  • And a power supply
  1. Assemble your eGPU

  • Carefully unpackage and place each component–the GPU, PSU, and Thunderbolt case–in a clean, well-lit space. Save your packaging in case you need to exchange or return an item. Always treat electronics delicately and use caution when handling the power unit.
  • Unscrew and remove the case cover and expose the housing.
  • Gently snap the GPU into the case slots. The GPU will be wrapped in several layers of protective packaging. Make sure to remove all wrapping and guards from the GPU.
  • Connect the PSU to the card. For most cards, this will be a 6 or 8-pin connector.
  1. Install drivers

NVIDIA makes a suite of GeForce drivers that streamline the installation and update process and optimize specific games and video editing apps. If you’re using a non-NVIDIA GPU make sure you download graphic drivers from the manufacture website and follow the instructions included with the device. When your PC drivers are updated, restart your machine.

  1. Fire up your new eGPU

For your PC to properly run the GPU, Windows must identify the new device during the startup process. Plug-in your card and power up your PSU at the same time about 10 seconds after you fire up the PC, just before the Windows logo displays. Windows will identify the device in the boot process and load it as an additional GPU.

Building this unit may not be very easy. You will likely encounter a few bugs and issues that require attention and troubleshooting. The most common problems with this eGPU rig seem to be human error, driver snags, and hardware incompatibility.

Gaming PC – Smartphones

Gaming PC is a personal computer designed for playing video games that require a high amount of computing power. A modern gaming computer is comparable to a mainstream computer with the addition of performance-oriented components, such as high-performance video cards and high core-count central processing units, that sacrifice power efficiency for raw performance. One example of a gaming computer is the AORUS Extreme Gaming PC which was released in April 2019. A pre-build gaming pc offers the best encounter, but building your own would be a great experience.

Building your PC opens the door to creating a beautifully unique system that you’ll be proud to display at your battle station. There’s a certain amount of satisfaction that comes from building the gaming PC that you really won’t find elsewhere. That being said, saving money and personalization is great, but the DIY route certainly isn’t for the faint of heart. 


This guide is all about piecing components together to create a functional machine. If you haven’t selected and purchased all the required hardware, make sure you do that first.

Short tips and tricks for building a gaming PC 

  • Before you do anything, determine the purpose of your build. What’s the reason you’re making this PC? Is it because you want the ultimate gaming machine? Are you looking for something that can handle your creative work, or just want a build that can manage common web browsing? In any case, your motivations will influence your decisions when shopping for components.
  • Make sure all the components you buy are compatible with one another and your budget. Make sure you’re building a PC symphony comprised of components that perform together harmoniously, not a discordant, mismatched group of parts that literally won’t play a thing. 
  • Make sure you have an appropriate workspace. A building goes more smoothly when you’re backed by good lighting or a flashlight to get visibility into the dark, narrow corners of your build. It’s also helpful to have a table large enough for laying out all your components.
  • Make sure all your peripherals work beforehand. It’s real anticlimactic to spend hours on a build just to hit power and see nothing happen, as will be the case if you try to pair it with a non-functioning monitor. And while the PC will boot even if the keyboard or mouse is bad, it won’t be much use to you. You don’t want to disassemble your build piece by piece when all you needed was a different peripheral to get things going.

How to set up business smartphones

Samsung DeX offers many different features to best suit your needs. Samsung DeX Mode allows your device to cast a PC-like experience to the big screen with the same apps you use on your phone every day. Finally, You can use DeX mode on your monitor while simultaneously using different apps on your device, or turn your device as an input device to control the DeX environment.

We’re usually sold on power, as each year phones from Apple, Samsung, Google, and more pack increasingly sophisticated processors. But, outside of a slight-to-moderate bump in battery life, it’s rare that you’re able to put the extra grunt to use. DeX is a smart way to leverage all that impressive power.

On top of a recent Galaxy phone (from 2017 on), you’ll need a docking station with enough ports to connect a keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Samsung sells a DeX Pad and says using its accessories will give you an optimized experience. 

The three available Samsung DeX adapters offer different advantages depending on where and how you use the platform.

Compact and pocketable, the DeX HDMI adapter allows you to easily connect your phone to a standard HDMI cable on your monitor. Since there are no additional ports to connect a USB keyboard and mouse, you’ll instead need to use Bluetooth peripherals. For longer DeX work sessions, rely on wireless charging to keep your battery topped up.

Setting up Samsung DeX

To switch into Samsung DeX using the station or pad, follow these steps:

  1. Connect the DeX Station to an external monitor using an HDMI cable.
  2. Connect the DeX Station to a power source using a Samsung branded fast charger (fast chargers have a lighting bolt symbol on them).
  3. Connect the keyboard and mouse to the mobile device through Bluetooth. Alternatively, connect the mouse and keyboard via USB.
  4. Place the mobile device on the DeX Station.

To switch into Samsung DeX using an HDMI adapter, follow these steps:

  1. Connect a Samsung Note 9 or Tab 4 to an external monitor using an HDMI to USB Type-C cable.
  2. Connect the keyboard and mouse to the mobile device through Bluetooth. Alternatively, connect the mouse and keyboard via USB dongle.


Remember, building a PC or eGPU is supposed to be fun. And while roadblocks or hiccups may appear, frustration doesn’t have to follow. Think of it as a game or creative process; every issue just allows you to work on a new strategy or try a different approach.

At the end of the day, having fun with gaming is not bad, but you need to balance everything because you would want to focus on more important things. Spending much for gaming will not be a good settlement for you. Be wise and choose which of which will save you time and money.
