Singapore, 30 March 2021 – Epsilon, a global connectivity service provider, has been selected by Phenomen Berlin Filmproduktion, a post-production company based in Berlin, to power its cinematic art project. Epsilon enabled the independent film company to host over 700 hours of footage and remotely access its servers with a scalable and secure colocation environment in London.
Part of the wider Phenomen Films group with presence in Moscow, Kharkov and Kiev, Phenomen Berlin Filmproduktion utilises Epsilon’s highly secure and interconnected London colocation facility to deliver immersive media experiences for users across the globe.
“The impact of the pandemic on media companies has been huge. When we heard that Phenomen Films required help with its servers in London, we were quick to provide the support, space and power needed to support their business continuity plans,” said Simon Waller, Regional Sales Director, EU, US & MEA at Epsilon. “We’re pleased to work with Phenomen Films and help them deliver the best possible cinematic experience for their audience.”
Epsilon’s highly secure and interconnected colocation facilities help to safeguard Phenomen Films’ data with leading security and operational reliability. Epsilon is driving its digitalisation and supporting the increasing need for connectivity. With Epsilon’s global network fabric, Phenomen Films also benefits from instant access to new and existing networks, clouds, internet exchanges and data centres around the world.
“We needed a rapid turnaround and when we had to relocate our servers, and we were impressed by the response time from Epsilon. Within the same day of enquiry, we had a tour of the facility and knew it was the right one for us,” said Maksym Demydenko, Head of Post-Production & Digital at Phenomen Films. “The whole process was seamless, which minimised any possible downtime and ensured our users across the globe can continue to participate in our cinematic project. We look forward to continuing our work with Epsilon in the future as we embark on new projects and expand our production in other locations.”
