How to Make an Image Transparent in Google Slides

Step 1: Open a blank slide in Google Slides as the first step. Select the Image option from the Insert menu on the toolbar. To upload the image you want, choose Upload from Computer.

Step 2: Click OK after choosing the desired image from the folder.

Step 3: Afterward, right-click on the image that you have selected and pick Format Options from the menu that pops up.

Step 4: You can edit your photo using the menu that appears on the right side of the screen. To make the image transparent, choose Adjustments and then select Transparency.

Step 5: Use the Transparency slider to change the image’s opacity. To get the appropriate level of transparency, either move the slider to the required value or to the right to entirely transparent the image.

To Adjust the Opacity of the Image:

Step 1: To make a shape transparent, start by inserting it into your slide. Click on the Shapes option in the toolbar to access a variety of shapes.

Step 2: Choose the shape that best suits your needs and sketch it onto the slide.

Step 3: Select the shape and click on the Fill icon. Choose a color for the shape.

Step 4: Once the shape is filled with color, click the Fill icon again. This time, click the + Custom icon located at the bottom of the Fill window. This action will open a new tab.

Step 5: In the new tab, use the Transparency slider to adjust the opacity of the shape to the desired degree. Enter the necessary percentage and click “OK.” The shape will then become transparent, allowing you to create captivating visual compositions.
