I have tested lot of educational apps before, but this Android app is a complete learning package not only for kids but for parents and teachers as well. The app is named as –eduDroid!
eduDroid Android App Review
This app has been developed after extensive research for teaching kids various activities like counting, learning letters, words, write letters and engage in several relevant activities to make the overall learning experience interactive and engaging.
The app is basically designed for aimed at children in KS1, KS2, and customizable enough to use it up to secondary school kids. eduDroid is pushing the limits of how customizable any app can be by making it very usable for parents and teachers. They can lock other apps and let their kids use the personalized version of he eduDroid. Parents or Teachers can set the difficulty levels for various activities in interactive games, according to the age and understanding of the child. Once they get better at most of the content, the difficulty levels can be increased to next step.
School features are very extensive, and they can set up any number of devices, which can be operated by whole class later on. App can take polls, play interactive games like Millionaire, and engage in fun activities that give indirect education to the user. Parents can unlock the rest of phone features easily, but it will take little time when it comes to customization of the app.
The overall experience while using the app is quite fluid on both smartphone as well as tablet. The interface of the app is basic, and I hope the developers will come up with some fresh looking UI to engage children even more.
