How To Sync Google Docs To PC Like Dropbox Does! !

I always wish that Google Docs account could perform the same as the sync magic of Dropbox and I applause as now Synchronization is couple with Google Docs! Well, this has become possible with the capabilities of Cloud. Working with cloud using Google docs is real fun and it enables the user to access the content anywhere and anytime even on the go. Well anywhere and anyplace means, where you have power and internet connectivity.

KumoSync is a potential and efficient tool which facilitates you to move with your data just like your life in your soul. The concept is quite simple, where your work is being sync with the Google Docs and then you can access it from any terminal, be it a tablet, PC or smart phone. Following simple steps will empower you to be with your data all the time.

Prerequisite

  • You need to have .NET framework 3.5 or even higher installed on your terminal.
  • You of course need a valid Google account which should be at least 6 months old.
  • Should have Microsoft XP/vista/Windows 7.

Step 1

Firstly you need to download the installation package of KumoSync. Then right-click on the icon and tap to the setting option.

Step 2

This will redirect you to another window here you need to create new Sync mapping.

On creating the new mapping, you will be asked to enter your Google account credentials, just like shown in the snap below –

Next it will ask you to select the local directory which you would like to synchronize with your Google Docs. Here you can even select the entire drive.

Step 5

Once you select the local directory, make sure you check on the enable in the lower left corner.

Step 6

In the setting options, you will see the preference; on choosing it, you will be catered with the application preferences. Here you can choose the options like in what interval you want the automatic synchronization to be taken place and many more such preferences.

Step 7

Now click on the button right to finish up the setup process.

You have now done with the process to sync your docs with Google docs and you are free to sync the data automatically or can even go with the manual intervention.
