Innovative Voice Plans Are Launched By Aircel Under ‘Paanch ka Dum’ in Adhra Pradesh

In its endeavor to offer best value for money products, Aircel has launched a unique voice plan – ‘Paanch ka Dum’ – at a cost of only Rs. 5. The consumer gets to select one of the voice benefit  – community calling -5AM -5PM free, community calling  – 1p/ 6 seconds, Half paise local calls, Half paise Local + STD Call and ISD.  The product combines offering extra value at low price with convenience. The customer has to dial 15105 to select. This will also be made available in paper.

This product is intended for a consumer segment which is conscious about its budget and prefers smaller denominations. The low entry price and the options to select one of the 5 benefits is a first of its kind.”

He added, “Aircel has been the fastest growing operator in Andhra Pradesh in the 3rd quarter in 2013.  In line with the company’s focus on data, Aircel Andhra Pradesh is on course to almost double its data revenues from 2012 to 2013. There has been a 50% jump in the data contribution to the overall revenues from December 2012 to September 2013.

In its quest to lead the data revolution, the company has taken the following initiatives:

–  Increase the data benefit on the lowest monthly plan by 50%. From 1GB (unlimited) to 1.5 GB (unlimited)

–  Unified data pack common for 2g & 3g
