Frost & Sullivan to Look into Growth Opportunities and Tech Readiness in Nepal and Other South Asian Countries at its Annual, Flagship Summit

Over the years, South Asia has shown resilience in the face of turbulent global environment and digital disruption across industries. One of the least developed yet most populous in the world, the region has shown significant potential for investment, opportunities, innovation and growth. Envisaging huge growth opportunities, Frost & Sullivan is all set to host the very first edition of its flagship event, Growth, Innovation and Leadership Summit – ‘GIL South Asia 2018’ on March 15th, 2018 at  Soaltee Crowne Plaza, Kathmandu. The coveted platform will open the next phase of Journey to Visionary Innovation – Digital Transformation: Business and Social Impact.
 
The event will have representatives from distinguished organizations, thought leaders and innovators who are the agents of change that the world needs to see. The summit will deliberate how innovation has become imperative for organizations to implement concrete strategies around digital transformation for sustainable revenue and growth across South Asia.
 
Embarking on South Asia’s emergence of new growth avenues and emerging business models Aroop Zutshi, Global President & Managing Partner, Frost & Sullivan said, “Today it is imperative for organizations to implement concrete strategies around digital transformation. This year Frost & Sullivan will bestow the “2018: GIL Leadership Award” to Dr. Sanduk Ruit, Executive Director, Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology for Social Impact through Affordable Healthcare. He has worked toward restoring the sight of over 100,000 people across Africa and Asia by using small-incision cataract surgery. He is also one of the founders of the Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology. The award recognizes accomplished global leaders who over the course of their careers have demonstrated significant excellence in driving growth, innovation and leadership through their personal contributions and efforts in the industry, along with a significant social impact.
 
With an elite set of panelists like Saurabh Jyoti, IPP SAARCYEF & Director of Jyoti Group and Chairman of Syakar Company, Hem Raj Dhakal, Managing Director, IME Group; Sajid Amit, Country Ambassador, World Innovation Forum, Switzerland, and various thought leaders and insightful Q&A sessions, GIL South Asia 2018 will provide insights on:

They will discuss the startup ecosystem, budding disruptive innovators and key success factors for building scalable business models.
 
Frost & Sullivan will also recognize South Asia’s most innovative companies at the 2018 Best Practices Awards Banquet, which will be held in the evening on March 15th. The Banquet will recognize companies for their accomplishments in areas of innovation and advanced technologies that will catalyze and transform industries in the near future.
