Gamers Unite:  3 Great Mobile Games To Keep You Moving

Mobile gaming is an interesting phenomenon. On one hand, it’s definitely the most common type of gaming out there. Almost everyone with a smart phone has a game or two, and most of them play even if they don’t think of themselves as gamers. Despite this, many of these games are played solo. They lack the multiplayer aspect that makes gaming so much fun on other platforms. Fortunately, there are a few games that help leverage the power of friendship to create even more amazing experiences.

Pokemon Go

Pokemon Go was a phenomenon upon its release, giving players their first chance to go out and catch Pokemon in the real world. While the hype has cooled considerably since those early months, the game is still going strong. There are now even more Pokemon and even more challenges in the game, some of which now require the help of friends to accomplish.

When the game first came out, the only real way to play with friends was to try to conquer gyms. This was still something of a solo task, but one that could be coordinated. Now, there are raids – tasks that require several players to complete. Finishing a raid leads to excellent rewards and provides a fantastic social opportunity.

Final Fantasy 15

Final Fantasy 15 is a mobile game that doesn’t just put players in the shoes of a Final Fantasy protagonist – it is also a game that allows a player to measure the control over the Final Fantasy world. Taking place in roughly the same continuity as the hit Final Fantasy XV, the player is asked to take control of a kingdom and build it from the ground up. While a great deal of this work might feel like rebuilding, there’s a very real sense that the player has everything he or she needs to succeed.

While the game makes use of time gates and premium currency, it’s not very hard to advance in the game. You can put as much or as little time in the game as you like, and working with others actually makes the game a great deal of fun. This is a great way to build up your Final Fantasy kingdom with friends.

The Simpsons: Tapped Out

The Simpsons: Tapped Out has managed to carve out a niche for itself over the years, bringing in many dedicated fans. At its heart, it’s another very simple, licensed city builder. This game happens to leverage the creative world of Springfield to bring in players, using the deep history of the television show to bring in new characters and buildings on a regular basis. After around three decades, the show definitely still has plenty to offer gamers.

The game is also one that requires friends to advance. There are monthly events that usually require gathering special currency, something that can be done much faster if you have friends with whom you play. While it’s possible to advance without friends, it’s much more of a grind to do so. TSTO has proven that some games just work better when you have help.

Mobile gaming doesn’t have to be a lonely task. Games like those above have proven that you can have an excellent time simply by involving your friends in the games you play. Sometimes, they can help you save time and protect your investments in the games. At other times, they make it possible to accomplish tasks that just couldn’t be accomplished on your own. No matter what the case, though, working with your friends just makes it easier to play some of the best mobile games available today.
