ASUS Introduced New Tablet PCs Based on Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS

The Taiwanese company ASUS introduced at CES 2011 its new line of tablet PCs, where the four models – three based operating system Android 3.0 (Honeycomb).

ASUS Eee Pad Slider

ASUS Eee Pad Slider (pictured above) is a folded normal 10.1-inch Tablet PC, whose touchscreen technology is made by IPS. However, due to the use of special hull design – its built-in full-sized “fly-out» QWERTY keyboard makes this model a full-fledged laptop.

ASUS Eee Pad Slider is equipped with a dual core processor, NVIDIA Tegra 2, combining the capabilities of conventional dual-core processor and graphics processor firm line GeForce GPU. In addition, the tablet is equipped with two cameras (1.2 megapixel and 5 megapixel front – rear), and some modifications – 3G module.

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer:

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer is also equipped with 10.1-inch touch screen (capacitive) display, and due to the fact that its keyboard can be “unfastened” has little weight.

From the technical characteristics Eee Pad Transformer indicated the presence of his dual-core processor NVIDIA Tegra 2, which provides full support for Adobe Flash, smooth playback of HD content, faster web surfing and stunning graphics in games. In addition to this, ASUS Eee Pad Transformer is equipped with a mini HDMI port, a front-1.2 MP Camera, 5 MP – on the back side, the ability to play Full HD video content.

It is worth mentioning that “removable” keyboard is a docking station with extra battery, extending the “life” device up to 16 hours.

ASUS Eee Pad MeMO:

ASUS Eee Pad MeMO – a compact 7.1-inch plate, whose touch screen uses capacitive technology. New allows you to play Full HD video, which may derive from external sources, using microHDMI port. For greater convenience in writing the manuscript notes on the device, it is equipped with a special stylus. Unlike previous models, which work on a chipset from NVIDIA, ASUS Eee Pad MeMO processor uses Qualcomm Snapdragon.
