iOS 5 Jailbreak Is Confirmed By iPhone Dev Team Already

This is seriously genius, I mean its just a day passed after the launch of path breaking  iOS 5 – iPhone Dev team has already confirmed that Jailbreak of iOS 5 is successfully done. No doubt this is not the actual iOS 5 that they are talking about. They have managed to Jailbreak iOS 5 Beta that has launched by Apple for developers for testing.

But still – They can do the actual iOS 5 too, aren’t they ???

We have got this iOS jailbreaking news from tweet of a MuscleNerd, who is a iPhone Dev team member & he stated he managed to install Cydia 1.1 on his iPod Touch running iOS5 beta. He have also posted some screenshot so you can assure he has actually done it. iOS 5 final release will be done by the end of this year for Appple users so, right now they have only posted tethered jailbreak of iOS 5 beta & not the untethered one.

Check out the screenshots  iOS 5  jailbreaking  from the iPhone dev Community that are running on Apple iPod Touch & posted at twitpic.

Just to confirm you can notice the all new Newsstand app that aggregates News stories & default iPod icon has been replaced as per new release. You can also check out  Cydia and iSSH installed and going fine in this next screenshot. (Its actually the iPod Touch running on iOS 5 and Cydia 1.1.1 )

And the next big statement posted by iPhone dev team is the great feature of Over The Air (OTA) updates features will not be affected if you are jailbreaking your iPhone or iPod Touch.

For upgrading your devices to the beta release of iOS 5 then you can Download iOS 5 here from iPhone Dev Center

Also you’ll need latest version of iTunes 10.5 which you can download from this external link
