Chasing a Dream of Inclusive Society – National Organisation for Social Empowerment

India has progressed in every sphere of life including the fields of education, healthcare sector, industrial sector and private sector, but when it comes to providing equal opportunity to poor and downtrodden, we are far behind. A country with 1.25 billion population has still not been able to provide basic amenities. Government efforts charity organizations are working to overcome this problem but to serve this population more hands are required.

National Organisation for Social Empowerment focuses on mainly two pressing problems of India; Education and Health. We believe if these two problems are addressed properly then poverty can be eradicated in a very short time from India. Our various programs such as Project Cure, Sewa Bhawan, and Rehab Centre in the last 6 years have made an impact on the society. Hundreds of students get free education, every month a dozen of patients receive our financial help and our health camps at various locations in Delhi are just few examples among many how we are serving the society.

Rehab Centre located in Tughlakabad Extension is a fine example of our efforts. It is much more than a typical Rehab. Here, children are educated, nutritious food are provided, physiotherapy and many more facilities are provided to form a prosperous society. It has become a centre where life is celebrated in full form. And it has become all possible due to the vision of the National Organisation for Social Empowerment.

About National Organisation for Social Empowerment

With the mind-set and attitude to serve the society, NOFSE was established by Mr. Amandeep Singh and Mr. Sparsh Maheswari in Delhi in 2012 with an aim of making a better society. Both founders were graduated from foreign university and they could have easily made their fortune but chose rather to serve the society. Mr. Aman Singh, the trustee of NOFSE who recently inaugurated free tuition classes up to standard eight said, “While India has become the world’s largest economy but it has still to become a nation where everybody gets an equal opportunity if not equality.” He has a dream of making a rehab centre for all underprivileged children in India where dreams will fly high and life will be cherished.

Since its establishment, it has been a well-known Rehab Centre in Delhi and also in other parts of India.

NOFSE provides education based upon Montessori School Education System to needy children to enhance their cognitive learning skills. It has four full-time teachers who have over 4 decades of experience. It dreams of building good careers for underprivileged children.

Apart from providing free education and development for underprivileged children, NOFSE also facilitates regular health check-up providing free physical therapy by expert doctors. It is a place of getting expert advice from top physiotherapist practitioners to people who are suffering from physical pains. It has two full time physiotherapists and two assistant staffs to serve the people suffering from musculoskeletal problems, joint pains, arthritis and injuries. It provides NDT or Neuro Developmental Treatment, an advanced therapeutic approach practiced by experienced Physical Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists. It is a centre where dreams get fulfilled. In the last 6 years, it has made a tremendous progress thanks to the help of likeminded donors who want to change the society. They want to see a society where everyone gets equal opportunity. However, our dream is big and we need everyone’s support in achieving our dream of equality.

NOFSE invites all the people to join this movement as together, we can make a change.
